You can't get any lower in the United States. Or drier. Or hotter.
And I can't wait to go!
You see, right now Death Valley is experiencing a phenomenon known as a "Super Bloom." Instead of a few spring flowers, the valley is covered in beautiful wildflowers all thanks to the heavy winter rain storms.
I've been glued to the National Park Service Wildflower Updates for the past few weeks to make sure our timing would work out.
I've never been to Death Valley, and the Super Bloom seems like the perfect excuse to make the drive.
Stay tuned for pictures and updates as the weekend unfolds!
