Last celebratory beer for #toppsbeatty2018
If only it were an Abita...
I got to see my Grandma's Rose Bowl Legacy Plaza MSU brick.
She loved MSU so much (it was a close tie with her family) and was so excited when I got to see them play in their Rose Bowl game, that I couldn't imagine her name NOT being there.
Pretty sure she is happy with her neighbor (Connor Cook was one of her favorites) and is calling us 'you rotten kids' for adding her name to the plaza.
I was afraid it wouldn't be placed before we left LA (apparently these things take a LONG TIME), but timing has a funny way of working out.
Up on the shore they work all day
Out in the sun they slave away
While we devotin'
Full time to floatin'
Under the sea
Among many awesome things happening this week - @blogfest and @ideafit selected ME as their trusted Google Analytics speaker! Can't wait to share my GA experience with this group of amazing folks!
While I did love my original Insta profile pic, figured it was time to show my face around these parts and not just my sweet baby beach body.
Big thanks to @laetus007 for the lovely photo!
Good morning my friends!
Thai coffee for dinner. I certainly won't regret this decision...
Last long run for this training cycle (10 mi) and the headless chicken is starting to get its wings.
Or, it's going through a really awkward growing phase.
Harry and Meghan weren't the only ones with a big morning. After distilling all of my learnings into three note cards for last minute review in the parking lot, I took my Health Coach certification exam this morning. And PASSED!
So excited to be able to help others make meaningful lifestyle changes!
Rain. I love you, but man, you just blocked my deadlifts.
The downside to a gym where all the barbells are outdoors is that any and all precipitation closes the lifting (and rowing) area.
Hopefully it dries up soon and I can have that hot date with my deadlifts today!
My running route chicken continues to grow...
Just how I like it.
This. Is. EPIC.
Rufus has held a grudge against me for years. YEARS. Like, bend his back to avoid even a slight possibility I MIGHT brush against him type grudge.
Maybe he has decided to let things go in his old age or maybe I finally said hello to him first. Either way, I'm loving this moment.
When you open the window just in time. Sweet home Chicago.
Uh, well. This wasn't the run I had planned.
I call this one "Incomplete Chicken"
Or maybe I'm just hungry.
